Reproduction stainless steel gas tank comes with a 3/8" outlet to supply enough gas for newer engines and 5/16" fitting for stock applications. 
There is no need to paint or coat the tank with any kind of sealant. It is corrosion resistant just like the original. Tank is ready to install!
