New stainless steel shortened steering column jacket to convert to 500 or 605 series power steering in your 1955-1956 Chevy passenger cars. This kit allows you to run your original automatic column with GM 500, 600 or 605 series conversion power steering box. You will need to switch the guts from your original column to this column. Features an improved shift lever design and added clearance at the firewall.
