New steel shortened steering column jacket to convert to 500 or 605 series power steering in your 57 Chevy passenger cars. This kit allows you to run your original automatic column with GM 500, 600 or 605 series conversion power steering box. You will need to switch the guts from your original column to this column. Features an improved shift lever design and added clearance at the firewall.
Kit Includes: Tube, Shaft and Floor Plate
Note: This column is 3 1/2" shorter than stock. The overall housing length from the top of the turn signal housing down to the end of the column housing is 29 1/8". Steering shaft included is 32" long.
