Tank is stainless steel. There is no need to paint or coat the tank with any kind of sealant. It is corrosion resistant just like the original. Tank is ready to install!

**This will fit and bolt correctly without any modifications for 1963-1968 but it holds 4 gallons less than the original.There will be a 4" void in the underbody cavity of your car that will affect nothing.
