There is no need to paint or coat the tank with any kind of sealant. It is corrosion resistant just like the original. Tank is ready to install!

** This will fit and bolt correctly without any modifications for 1963-1968 (except 67-68 Eldorado) but it holds 4 gallons less than the original.There will be a 4" void in the underbody cavity of your car that will affect nothing.

Note: There is an option to add the compatible sending unit, straps and tank pad by checking "Yes." in the appropriate boxes.
